Holy Week - the week between Palm Sunday and Easter - is a special time at First Corpus. See below for the different events we have going on throughout this busy week.
Maundy Thursday
Service of the Last Supper

Thursday, April 17 @ 6pm

Join us for a reflective Maundy Thursday service on April 17 at 6:00 pm.

This intimate gathering will focus on Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross through contemplative worship and Communion.

The service will feature meaningful hymns and modern songs led by our worship team.

Good Friday
Somber Candlelight Tenebrae Service

Friday, April 18 @ 6pm

Tenebrae Service:
Join us for this powerful evening of remembrance as we focus on Christ’s ultimate sacrifice through special choral pieces and congregational worship.

The service will include the Seven Last Sayings of Christ and close in silent candlelight.

Saturday, April 19 @ 8am

Registration now open for the 2025 Arise-N-Run annual Easter Weekend 5K Run & 2-mile Walk.

Family-friendly event including post-run awards ceremony.

Easter Sunday
Worship Services at 8:45 & 11:15am

Easter Worship Services at

Easter Service Schedule

During Holy Week and Easter, Christians remember the events that lead up to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and celebrate the central tenant of their faith. Holy Week culminates on Easter Sunday, which celebrates Jesus' resurrection from the dead.

You are invited to join us for Holy Week services at our church. Experience the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus through song, prayer, and reflection.

Maundy Thursday
6:00pm - Service of the Lord’s Supper

Good Friday
6:00pm - Good Friday Tenebrae Service
Join us for this reflective Tenebrae Service. It is a powerful evening of remembrance as we focus on Christ’s ultimate sacrifice through special choral pieces and congregational worship. The service will include the Seven Last Sayings of Christ and close in silent candlelight. Nursery available for birth to Kindergarten.

Easter Sunday
8:45am    Family Blended Worship Service*
10:00am  Bible Study (All Ages)
11:15am  Family Modern Worship Service*

Both services will be a joyful celebration of praise as we rejoice in the freedom Jesus has given us through the cross. Our Blended Worship Service (8:45 am) will be led by the orchestra and Worship Choir with special music such as “The Stone Is Rolled Away” and “And Can It Be?”. The Modern Worship Service (11:15 am) will feature uplifting worship led by our modern worship team and will include inspiring songs like “I Believe” and “King of Kings”.

*Easter Sunday services are family services. We encourage and welcome children of all ages to celebrate Easter together with our church family. Nursery will be available for birth to Kindergarten.
